Viktar Makuryn
Viktar Makuryn is a multidisciplinary artist whose approach is based on a playful exploration of material properties and visual principles, where aesthetics emerge from errors and technical imperfections. The strength of his work lies in the contrast between deliberately rough, foolish forms and a deep attentiveness to the essence of things.
Born in 1992 in Baranovichi, Belarus, he lives and works in Prague, Czech Republic. From 2021 to 2023, he was a member of the Krasnyj Kruzhok art group led by Avdey Ter-Oganyan. Since 2024, he has been working at the open studios Trať42, located in the Krenovka art hub.
